Clinical psychologist Bobbie Ray-Sannerud has many years of experience with stress management for veterans in the US Air Force. She has a PhD from National Center of Veteran Studies, University of Utah.

Read her scientific articles to learn about the causes of stress and stress reactions. The articles provide a brief overview of possible interventions and treatment options. While some of these are evidence based, others are based on clinical experience. For each topic there is a reference list for further study.

The treatment options presented can be used alone or in combination with other on-going therapies. Relaxation techniques, for example, can be used as a supplement to other treatments for conditions such as sleeplessness, depression, PTSD and anxiety disorders.
